Vaccination is the cheapest veterinary medicine there is, and in Kenya it is also the most consequential: parvovirus is common here and rabies is endemic and legally notifiable.
We vaccinate at the clinic or at your home. Every dose is recorded on your card with the product name and batch, because a card that just says “vaccinated” is not proof of anything when a boarding kennel or an airline asks.
If your pet is unwell on the day, we will say so and rebook rather than vaccinate. A vaccine given to an animal already fighting something works less well, and it muddies the picture if the animal then gets worse.
What is included
- A proper health check before anything is injected, because a sick animal should not be vaccinated that day
- The vaccination itself, with the product name and batch recorded on your card
- A rabies certificate signed by a registered veterinary surgeon where rabies is given
- A written reminder of when the next dose is due
- Weight recorded, which matters for the deworming that runs alongside

Indicative market ranges for Kenya, reviewed 2026-08-29. This is not a quotation. Prices vary with your pet’s weight, the brand of vaccine or drug used, and whether the visit is at a clinic or at your home. Ask for a figure before treatment starts, any vet should give you one.
Common questions
Can you vaccinate at my home?
Yes, and for cats and nervous dogs it is often the better option. There is a call-out charge on top of the vaccination; ask us for the figure for your area.
My pet's vaccinations lapsed. Do we start again?
Bring the card. A short lapse usually means continuing, a long one may mean restarting. We will tell you which before you commit to anything.
